Viva Italia!

Here she is, the mother of our Grand/Great Giovanni(John) Piacitelli who came over from Italy on the boat; Filomena DeFilipis
It is not uncommon for me to have patients with Italian ancestry at the hospital. Recently I had one that made me think of our family's ancestors. Because of my conversation with him and his family about Italy and the arrival of his family in America, I spoke with Dan Piacitelli. Dan sent me the above picture and also sent to me the genelogical chart/information that he has from this part of our family. It is some neat stuff. If you'ld like a copy of it Dan or myself will email a copy to you. In any case, you have a photo of the likeness of one of our ancestors. I understand that she lived until she was about 100 years old. We have some of the long living genes in our family line! Dan and I also have spoken of making a family history trip to Italy sometime, possibly next year. If you're interested, we'd like to have you along, let us know. Unfortunately it is a little late to see this years Winter Olymic games, but there is still plenty to do and see there for us.
Viva Italia!

So cool Jeff! I think this is the first time I have felt a leap of the Spirit of Elijah from within my womb. Wait, I got some scriptures mixed up there. But anyway, very cool!
